Skills Required:

1. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in banking with at least 4 years’ experience in data science role.
2. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression.
3. Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
4. Proficiency in data visualization and scripting/programming languages - SQL/SAS/R
5. Exposure to Hadoop / NoSQL databases preferred
6. Ability to tell stories with data using data visualization software such as Excel, R, SAS, or similar software in conjunction with strong verbal ability
7. Hands-on experience with multivariate analysis, statistical models, time series analysis, information theory, machine learning, clustering, and/or dimensionality reduction techniques in financial services, customer analytics, or similar domains.
